Auchen Castle has a fabulous offer price for guests that only want to get married at the castle. We have an unprecedented demand for inclusive packages that include ceremony, reception and accommodation however we can offer a” ceremony only wedding” for both Civil and Religious weddings. You will still have your own wedding co-ordinator who can go through all of your paperwork requirements and be there on your arrival and during the service to ensure that every detail is taken care of for any extra invited guests. The ceremony will be in a private ceremony room within the castle with opportuniues for photography afterwards in the extensive castle grounds. We will make arrangements for a piper and a photographer as part of the package that includes the following for a set price...Use of Castle private ceremony room, Red carpet for photos and arrival the Minister Sevices or a civil celebrant as required. Photography from one of the Borders premier Gretna photographers who will produce 20 photographs in a book bound album for you to remember your special day. The ceremony only price includes the use of a private room in the castle for 2 hours which is ample time to still have the opportunity for you and your guests to toast your wedding with Champagne and canapés that can easily be arranged for an additional fee of only £ 11.00 pp in the castle or outside on the garden Terrance if you prefer. A tradional way to celebrate your wedding .A piper will be there to pipe you into the ceremony room and after the ceremony will pipe to signal your marriage union and exchange of vows. The piper will play a selection of tunes while your photography is taking place which gives a very romantic Scottish ambience all that you would expect getting married in a Scottish castle. Should you require witnesses for your wedding the castle can also arrange that for you as part of the package through your own co-ordinator. The offer price of £ 650.00 is inclusive of vat but is subject to availably .T o book this offer we require a deposit of £ 200.00 .Your co ordinater will then start the process of going through the legal requirements with you confirm the date in our diary as well as make the arrangements for you with the minister or the civil celebrant.

Bouquets of seasonal flowers with the timeless elegance of white Duchess roses blue hydrangeas mixed with fountain grass and thistles and always the possibility of seeing the near by mountain ranges Dusted with pure white snow .Wild deer walk the estate feely in winter months and the gardens are often crisp with frost and seasonal flora .

During winter months we have an extended stay offer for your guests of £ 65.00 pp pp for the extra nights stay subject to terms and availability. During winter months unlike many properties further north we still have excellent access just being across the borders a short distance from Gretna Green.

Get married on the 24th and then stay 25th Christmas Day with the evening of the 26th accommodation absolutely FREE so no need to worry about driving over the Christmas period.
